Couldn't we all use a little more kindness in our lives?
As kindness and self care seem to be growing themes within the world of beauty and all of our busy, frazzled lives, the latest Tili edit stepped into the trend with a collection of products called ‘Be Kind’.
This beautiful, watercolour box of treats are centred around giving your wellbeing a boost. After the slight disappointment of February's Look Fantastic box, I decided to treat myself to the Tili offering - you know exactly what's in the box ahead of time, so no chance of not enjoying the contents!
Tili Be Kind Sleep Mask
Sleep masks are a travel essential for me - not only for long-haul flights but also for the destination at the other side, where you never know how dark you can make your bedroom.
I really like this one - it's a silky material and very generously padded, so it's super comfortable to wear. The embroidered eyelash design is a lovely finishing touch - it reminds me of Audrey Hepburn's sleep mask in Breakfast At Tiffany's!
I do love that this is great quality and not just a cheap add-on to the box.
Percy & Reed Invisible Radiance Revealing Dry Shampoo
It's funny with Percy&Reed - I've tried a lot of their products, as they always seem to crop up in these boxes or as the free gift with a magazine! But I've never loved one enough to buy it, even though I do like the chic Monochrome illustrated packaging!
Dry Shampoo is something I rely on, as I only wash my hair once a week otherwise it gets really dehydrated and frizzy. It's a daily essential for me, and I'm quite picky about which one I use (CoLab is my hot favourite so far!).
It'll be interesting to see whether this lives up to it's promise of no residue and leaving hair feeling fresh and lightweight.
Rituals Ayurveda Balancing Body Cream
If you're looking for a gorgeous, pampering body care brand, you can't go far wrong with Rituals.
I've never tried something from them that I didn't like, and I know their moisturisers are lovely, so I'm definitely looking forward to this, especially as it's scented with two of my favourite things - honey and rose. A lovely little pick me up.
Dr Botanical Pomegranate Superfood Regenerating Sleeping Mask
The completist in me loves that I got the matching eye serum from this range recently, and as I'm getting increasingly interested in natural and organic beauty formulas, this is right up my street.
Pomegranates are hugely rich in antioxidants and perfect for a night treatment. This targets hyperpigmentation and dullness and is infused with superfoods to perfect your complexion while you sleep. I usually use an oil at night, so this will be a nice change.
Nude By Nature Perfecting Primer
Primer is one product I never skip - the right one can really make a difference to your make-up finish.
Nude by Nature are an Australian mineral make-up brand whose powder foundation I have enjoyed using before, and this primer is packed with Vitamins A, C and E, and green tea extract to create a fresh, dewy canvas for makeup.
I especially love that this is travel size, as it can be hard to find this staple product in a smaller container for travel.
Bareminerals Gen Nude Patent Lacquer - Can't Even
How beautiful is this tea rose shade? Interesting, Bareminerals also feature in this box, as they are Nude By Nature's biggest rival.
Here we have a high-shine, hydrating, very wearable formula. I've always been much more of a fan of gloss and satin finishes than the current vogue for mattes, so this is perfect.
Tarte Lifted Sweat Proof Mascara - Black-Brown
At the moment, I tend to steer away from mascara as I wear lash extensions, and that's generally enough, but this formula does intrigue me. It's a length and volume boosting formula that is water-resistant and designed for gym bunnies. As a devotee of hot spin classes, which get extremely sweaty, I love the idea of this. Infused with Amazonian clay and Vitamin C, this is a buildable, conditioning formula perfect for those with an active lifestyle.
Julep When Gel Met Pencil Eyeliner - Rich Brown
This is absolutely gorgeous and probably my favourite product in the box. Black liner can be a bit unforgiving as you get older and have issue like fine lines, bags and dark circles (I have all three, with bells on!), so this rich brown with a slight metallic sheen is a great choice.
It's super smooth when it glides on and gives you the effect of a gel liner in a handier pencil format. It sets in 30 second and is then fairly indestructible. I really like this product and will definitely be repurchasing!
Beauty Bio Bright Eyes Collagen Patches
Having mentioned all the many, many problems I have with my eye area, I'm a regular user of Collagen eye masks, which I normally buy in bulk from Korea, but this is a brand I haven't tried before.
Promising to take down puffiness, calm the skin using aloe vera and hydrate the under eye area so concealer sits better, these could be my new best friend.
I love this super pretty edition of the Tili box with some great finds in it, and I'll be looking out for the next one eagerly.
