Ok people, we are only a couple of weeks away from Valentine’s Day.
Will you be doing anything special with your love? It might even just be a day to spend time with your girly friends and enjoy being single.
If you do have some gifts to buy, though, it can be hard to know what to buy. It is nice to be able to get your other half something special, but at the same time not spend a lot of money.
I am a sucker for Valentine’s day but I know that it is important to show love to them on more than just one set day a year. No harm in spreading a little love, though.
So here are a few Valentine’s day gift ideas...
A Basket or Hamper Filled with Goodies
I think that this is a lovely idea and it is something that I would love to receive.
Fill a basket with some of their favourite things. It could include some of their favourite toiletries, along with a magazine or book that they would love.
A bottle of fizz is always a good idea to include, along with some of their favourite sweets or chocolates perhaps. Something like a new aftershave or perfume would be a lovely gift too.
Perfumes can be expensive, though, so if it is a little out of your budget, think about a looking for a voucher code online and then buy it with this discount.
Homemade Goodies
I don’t think there is much better than some homemade goodies. I’m by no means the best but I do like to make cupcakes from time to time.
So see if they have a favourite flavour and go from there. It shows that you have thought so much about them and what they would like. It is the thought that counts, right?
Classic Wine & Chocolates
I don’t think that you can go too far wrong with this option.
Depending on your other half, though, you could mix it up a bit. If they prefer to have a spirit to drink, rather than wine, then go for that. If it is all wrapped up nicely, then it will make a great gift.
The bonus of this gift is that you can enjoy it together on Valentine’s day evening. Bonus!
Personalised Picture
I see a lot of these things online and I think they are just the cutest. Can you put together a picture of the two of you and personalise a frame?
There are also cute ideas to use maps to show where you met, where your first kiss was, or where you were married. I think that is so cute and it has meaning to just the two of you.
Everyone else will just see a map on the wall! Maps look striking on a wall too so great for home decor.
