If there’s something I love to do in my spare time, it’s pamper myself. Not only does it make me look good, it makes me feel amazing.

Taking time for ‘you’ should be considered an important part of the day, like eating and brushing your teeth! Here are 8 ideas to make you feel incredible that you can try right now:



Do Your Nails


I find doing my nails really relaxing, and it’s a great way to accessories or contrast what you’re wearing with patterns and bright colours! You can always use a plain colour if you can’t be bothered with any of that.

I like to file them to make sure they’re all the same length, push back my cuticles, and use 2 coats of colour for the best results. Make sure you use a base coat and top coat too!

Apply a Face Mask


A face mask can be really relaxing, or you can simply pop it on while you get on with other things. The are cream masks that are great for hydration, or even peel off masks if you have clogged skin.

Take a Long Bath


Sometimes, taking a long bath can be just what you need to help you unwind and feel amazing. I like to light candles, use bath salts, and maybe play a little music. If you don’t have time for a bath, you can pamper yourself in the shower just the same!

Apply an Intense Conditioning Treatment to Your Hair


Does your hair feel a bit dry or look a bit dull? I like to apply masks to my hair too. Sometimes, if I need a particularly intense treatment, I wrap it up in clingfilm and a towel to keep the heat in. I even sleep in it overnight sometimes!

Whiten Your Teeth


There’s nothing like a beautiful set of pearly whites! It’s so easy to whiten your teeth at home with things like coconut oil and whitening strips, and I instantly feel like I’ve been to the dentist for a professional treatment.

Hair Removal


You don’t need a reason to shave your legs. Why not just do it for the fun of it? It takes about 5 minutes and I always feel better after I do it, even if I don’t quite know what the point is.

Visit a Salon or Clinic


If you don’t want to do it yourself at home, then you should treat yourself to a salon or clinic visit. People like Dr Leah offer treatments for everybody, whether it’s microdermabrasion or a facial peel you’re after.

Make Yourself Something Nice to Eat 


Pampering isn’t just what you do to your outside appearance, but the inside too. Make yourself something yummy and healthy to eat. Fill it with vegetables, and nuts and other natural foods. There are lots of recipes you can try online that taste amazing!
