Its another month, so there's been more hauling to show you! I love to see what other people are buying and what products are trending, so please link me to any hauls you’ve done recently and Ill take a look.
This month, I got my hands on a cult buy for cheeks, some premium beauty tools, the most useful eye palette ever and more...
How do you make false lashes look natural?
Lots of us want a gorgeous, full flutter, but applying lashes to look naturally perfect is definitely an art.
Although falsies have boomed in popularity over the past few years, it still seems that lots of us still struggle to apply them seamlessly and give our eyes that wow factor for a special occasion.
As someone that wears lashes almost every day (hey, its cheaper than a facelift and can have just as dramatic an effect), I like to think Ive learnt a thing or two along the way.
Undoubtedly the most important is to pick the right lashes to wear and when my favourite brand of falsies, Esqido, asked me if I’d like to try some of their new styles I was super excited.
So I thought I’d do a review of their new styles and then share my top five tips for making false lashes look natural.
Well, we aren’t likely to get one in tis country, and apart from the odd sunshiny day, so far Britain’s summer has been dark, damp and chilly.
So what better way to inject a little summer cheer into your life than a box full of beauty treats?
Having some kind of social life is a hell of a lot easier and I think all of us are much more cheerful!
So this Friday I was actually able to go out for drinks and a catch up with my dear friend Katie, Theo’s godmother.
Love her or hate her, when it comes to beauty products, everything Kylie Jenner touches turns to gold.
For a vapid teenager, she has done a pretty good job of popularising some of the major cosmetic trends of the last few years, from matte overlined lips to stiletto nails.
Of course, having the money to pay for the best glam squad in the US helps, so I'm always interested to know about products and techniques used by the artists that work with her.
In particular, I love that flawless skin finish that seems to be a hallmark of all the sisters so when I saw Hrush Achemyan - an MUA who often works with her and has featured in her Youtube vids - raving about a foundation that can be yours for just £8?! Well, I was all over that.
The foundation in question is Mehron Célèbre Pro HD, a cream formulation that's actually stage makeup. Would it be suitable for everyday life? I put it to the test…
And now for something a little different...
I haven't really tackled home decor on the blog before, even though it's definitely a subject I have a lot of interest in (as you can see from my Pinterest!).
In November 2014, we moved into a house that is a bit of a 'project' and we've been slowly renovating it ever since, although things got a bit slowed down by the arrival of our son last year.
Apart from the huge bare brick fireplace in the sitting room, the bathroom was the first thing I wanted to get rid of, but we've only just finished it.
